# Copy as Markdown

Convert a documentation page into Markdown that is easy for an LLM to read and reuse.

Every documentation page has a Markdown representation.

## Page `.md`

Append `.md` to a page path:

This is useful when an agent needs the complete page without navigation or visual layout.

## Request Markdown with a header

Clients that support custom headers can request Markdown directly:

## Tips for giving pages to a model

- Start with `skill.md` when the agent does not know the Kaien API surface.
- Give the model the relevant endpoint page instead of the entire documentation site.
- Keep the API key out of prompts and documentation context.
- Let the model preserve endpoint paths, field names, and code blocks exactly.
